Every completed project makes us happy! This time we contributed to the reconstruction of the Curonian Spit pedestrian and bicycle path, which stretches from Smiltynė to Juodkrantė

During the reconstruction, the 13.5 km long section was widened from 2-2.5 m to 3.5 m, as well as additional protection against tree roots and reinforced pavement construction, which will ensure long-term use of the path by pedestrians and cyclists. The parameters of the new infrastructure will allow the use of the trail by forest maintenance and fire protection heavy equipment in case of danger.

The project was carried out by the construction company UAB "YIT Lietuva", and we contributed with 30 thousand. tons of dolomite crushed stone, we also supplied granite curbs. From May 1 until July 4 about 16 heavy trucks carrying crushed stone moved to Smiltynė every day.
