We recently talked about our plans to transport our cargo on the Nemunas, and today we want to celebrate that the plans have turned into reality - the first cargo is already being transported on the river!

20 containers weighing 540 tons contain granite stone products that arrived at Klaipėda sea port. In size, this load corresponds to approximately 23 trucks with semi-trailers. Within 3 days, the Nemunu containers will arrive at the Marvelė cargo pier in Kaunas, and from there they will be distributed to the sites of ongoing projects by car transport.

We calculate that when transporting cargo in this way, we will emit approximately 2 times less CO2 than when transporting it by car.
