After the Inland Waterways Directorate modernized the shipping route between Kaunas and Klaipėda in the summer of last year, we are also pleased with the excellent results in using the new method of transporting products!  During 2023, a record amount of cargo sailed along this road, and out of 203 sea containers, 190 belonged to the Milsa Group.

"According to our calculations, transporting cargo by water transport emits 2 times less CO2 into the environment than transporting it by trucks. In our business processes, we promote sustainable solutions, so we continue to intend to transport cargo from Kaunas to the largest river in Lithuania – the Nemunas," says the head Mantas Makulavičius.
