The journey of Artūras, who has been working with us for five years, the manager of operational efficiency projects, indirectly started in "Milsa" when he was still a child. Artūras, who grew up near Klovainiai, used to hear the explosions carried out there, which aroused his curiosity and the desire to know what processes were taking place in the area.

After entering the university to study mechanical engineering and when it was time to do the internship, my gut told me that I should choose "Klovainių skalda". This is how he ended up in the mechanical workshop that was still operating there at that time, and after the internship he wanted to return there the following summer.

"I was lucky, because in the summer of 2017 there was another practice - I wanted to try out the mechanical workshop, but to see deeper processes, so I got into the production workshop. Everyone was very friendly, gave a lot of knowledge and welcomed me warmly, so when the fourth year came I wanted to continue my work. That's how I started working at another Milsa company, Granitas, as a support worker," says Artūras.

After some time, he became the operator of the technological line, and then the shift manager of the production of crushed stone, having his own team and working in this position for almost 2 years. Artūras is happy that Milsa provides excellent conditions for career advancement, development and self-discovery.

"While I was working at "Granitas", I went to my hometown every weekend and thought it would be nice to come back and live here. My wishes were taken into account and I returned to "Klovainių skalda" with joy, I still work here," says Artūras.

According to him, he has heard a saying from his colleagues that "if you want to improve, you need to visit the Klovainiai quarry, because your career will start there." For Artūras, this saying became a reality, because his internship at "Klovainių Skalda" laid the foundations for a successful career path!
