ABOUT THE COMPANY AND ITS ACTIVITY

The history of Granitas, UAB dates back to 1959, when the drilling and blasting office (later renamed to a department) was established in Kaunas. In 1974 the department was reorganized into Granitas, an association of road construction materials companies. In 1977, a crushed rock factory began operating in Kaunas, in the current area of Granitas, UAB. In 1990, Granitas association was reformed into a state-owned company Granitas, later into Granitas, AB.

Today Granitas, UAB. is one of the largest and financially stable producers and suppliers of crushed granite in Lithuania. The company's main activity is production of certified crushed granite and granite powder of various fractions, and loading of mineral materials.

The company is a member of Milsa ir Ko Association Aggregates Producers.
